RMA Orders

This section shows a list of RMA orders.

RMA Order Statuses

Status shows the progress of inspection, service, and delivery of an RMA order.

The following RMA order statuses are available:

1. New - this is the first status of RMA order when items are not received yet. This status is assigned automatically.

2. Waiting for inspection - after items are received, they should be checked (Procurement -> Inspection) and a decision should be made. This status is assigned automatically.

3. Waiting for action - this status shows that decision has been made and some manual action is needed:

  • if item should be repaired - a service order should be created;
  • if items should be replaced - replacement items should be booked.

This status is assigned automatically.

4. In progress - items are being processed and customer needs to wait until work is finished:

  • in case of repair - service order is created and it is in queue or in progress;
  • in case or replacement - a replacement item is not ready yet.

This status is assigned automatically.

5. Ready for shipment - this status shows that all items can be shipped to the customer (item is either rejected at inspection, repaired, or replaced). This status is assigned automatically.

6. Shipped & invoiced - this status shows that all items have been shipped. This status is assigned automatically.

7. Delivered - this status confirms that RMA order is finalized, items have been received by the customer. This status is assigned manually.

8. Cancelled - order is cancelled. This status is assigned manually. Cancelled RMA order cannot be restored.
