This function allows manufacturers to use expiry date and set shelf life time for parts and final products.
When this function is enabled at Settings -> System settings -> Professional functions, an Expiry date field is added to stock lot details. When creating a manufacturing order, raw materials are booked from not expired stock lots only.
Also, a Shelf life field is added to stock item details. When stock lot, purchase order or manufacturing order are created, software tries to calculate expiry date by adding a shelf life to the date when this product is received at the stock.
Expiry date can be changed manually.
If a stock item does not expire, leave these fields empty.
