In this video, we demonstrate how to connect MRPeasy to your WooCommerce store.
Let’s assume your company manufactures tables and sells them through an online store.
Setting up products and SKUs
Your WooCommerce store is already set up, and your products are listed for sale.
The same products also exist in your MRPeasy account. Each product’s part number in MRPeasy must match its SKU in WooCommerce.
Importing a new WooCommerce order
When a customer places and pays for an order in your online store, the WooCommerce sales order is imported into MRPeasy as a Customer Order.
The WooCommerce order number is copied to the “Reference” field of the MRPeasy Customer Order.
When products are ready for shipment
If the ordered items are available and booked, the Customer Order status in MRPeasy changes to “Ready for shipment.”
A note containing the MRPeasy order number is added to the order in WooCommerce. When the items are ready to ship, WooCommerce also receives the note “The order is ready.”
When products are not available
If the ordered items are unavailable, the Customer Order status in MRPeasy remains “Confirmed,” and some manual action is required.
To learn how to check stock and book items, see our video about Customer Relationship Management.
Fulfilling and shipping the order
You can report an order as shipped in either MRPeasy or WooCommerce.
To create the shipment in MRPeasy, open the Customer Order, add a shipment, and report the items as picked.
Once the items are shipped, the order status in WooCommerce changes to “Completed.” The note “The order has been shipped in MRPeasy” is also added.
Now let’s see what happens when an order is shipped directly from WooCommerce.
Before the shipment, 99 wooden tables were available in MRPeasy. After one table is sold and shipped through WooCommerce, the available quantity in MRPeasy falls to 98.
The product status in the Customer Orders view changes to “Delivered,” and MRPeasy automatically creates a shipment.
Synchronizing inventory levels
MRPeasy can automatically update available product quantities in WooCommerce once per hour.
For example, if MRPeasy shows 98 wooden tables in stock, WooCommerce will also show 98 after synchronization.
Connecting MRPeasy to WooCommerce
To connect MRPeasy and WooCommerce, go to:
Settings → System settings → Integrations → WooCommerce
Click “Connect to WooCommerce” and enter the required information:
- Enter your WooCommerce store domain.
- Choose whether to import customer information or use a generic customer.
- Choose whether to synchronize inventory levels from MRPeasy to WooCommerce.
WooCommerce will then ask you to grant MRPeasy access to the store. Approve the request to complete the connection.
Configuring the integration
After the integration is configured, only new paid WooCommerce orders will be imported into MRPeasy.
Orders placed before the integration was enabled will not be imported.
