MRPeasy Exhibits at Smart Manufacturing Week 2026

Smart Manufacturing Week 2026 came to a close after two busy days at the NEC Birmingham. The event brought together 13,500+ attendees and 450+ companies, making it one of the UK’s most important events for manufacturers, technology providers, and industry specialists.

A major event for UK manufacturing

Smart Manufacturing Week is the UK’s largest festival of advanced manufacturing and engineering. The event brought together several expos under one roof, including Smart Factory Expo, Maintec, Design & Engineering Expo, and Drives & Controls.

MRPeasy exhibited at Smart Factory Expo, which stood out as one of the busiest expos of the whole event. Smart Factory Expo showcased digital tools manufacturers can use to automate processes, connect production, modernize factory operations, and improve decision-making.

MRPeasy fit well with the Smart Factory Expo theme. Visitors stopped by our stand to learn more about how a manufacturing ERP can improve visibility and control across production, stock, purchasing, and sales.

Meeting manufacturers across different industries

Smart Manufacturing Week brought together manufacturers from many parts of the UK, with visitors representing a broad range of company sizes and industries.

Over the two days of the event, our team spoke with companies of many different sizes, from small manufacturers with just a few workers to larger businesses with 100+ employees. Visitors also came from many different industries, including consumer electronics, automotive, and food and beverage manufacturing.

Speaking with such a wide range of visitors gave us valuable first-hand insight into the production challenges UK manufacturers are dealing with and the role manufacturing ERP can play in solving them.

Catching up with MRPeasy customers

As with the other live events MRPeasy has been a part of, one of the best parts of Smart Factory Expo was meeting our existing UK customers.

Over the two days, MRPeasy customers attending the event stopped by our stand to meet the team, share positive feedback, and ask questions about how they could get even more value from MRPeasy. Most of our customer conversations usually happen through online demos, support tickets, or email, so being able to speak face-to-face was especially valuable.

Working with our UK partners

Smart Factory Expo also gave us a chance to work closely with our UK partners, Sara and Richard Duff from Smart Manufacture.

With Sara and Richard joining us on the stand, we were able to give visitors a clear view of different implementation options. Our team explained how MRPeasy can be set up independently using our extensive self-help resources, while Sara and Richard discussed how they can support companies with consultancy-led implementation.

Their experience working with UK manufacturers added practical depth to our conversations and helped visitors better understand the implementation process.

Looking forward to more UK events

Smart Manufacturing Week gave us two busy days of conversations with manufacturers, customers, partners, and industry specialists. It was a great opportunity to share how MRPeasy supports more connected manufacturing operations and to hear directly from UK businesses about their needs. We’re already looking forward to more events like this in the UK.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the MRPeasy stand!
