New Low-Cost Solutions Help UK Manufacturers Go Digital<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cost-effective, off-the-shelf technologies are helping\nmanufacturing SMEs to transform into highly efficient, digitally enabled\nbusinesses. Elizabeth Tofaris, IfM Engage, explains more about the Digital\nManufacturing on a Shoestring project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Australia: New Gold Coast Manufacturing Hub Opens in Nerang<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Queensland Government has officially opened a new Gold\nCoast hub that will provide local manufacturing businesses with access to development\nprograms and specialized training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister for Environment and the Great Barrier Reef and\nMinister for Science and Youth Affairs said that as well as the targeted\nsupport and training, the hub would also deliver a grants program for local\nmanufacturers focusing on the production of marine vehicles and transport\nequipment, food processing and technology, and metal fabrication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
