These include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>OEM (original equipment manufacturer) <\/strong>builds finished products or components that another company sells under its own name. Depending on the industry, \u201cOEM\u201d can refer to either the maker or the brand, so it\u2019s worth confirming which is meant in any given contract.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ODM (original design manufacturer)<\/strong> takes on the product design as well as the build. The ODM develops the product, and the hiring company sells it under its own brand.
